“Time is elastic in our personal experience of it. Hours fly by like minutes, and minutes are oppressively slow, as if they were centuries.”
-Carlo Rovelli
Tell me what you know about time.
Time is a constant in our lives. As children the clock is a learning tool, a development of schedule, and a way to gauge when and where we are. Schooling teaches more nuances to time through relationships to math and physics, and at times the growing hatred of not having enough time. Yet our experience of time varies. A minute can feel excruciatingly long or pass in the blink of an eye. Our lives are dictated upon the idea of being somewhere at a specific time. A measurable, calculated constant to our days.
